Raising funds for the IAPD Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament July 12

We’re excited to be sending 3 Plastifab team members to the 2018 IAPD Canadian Charitable Golf Tournament this week! All funds raised at this year’s event benefit the IAPD Charitable foundation.

The IAPD Charitable Foundation was established in 1981 and provides scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students who are employees (or family members of employees) within IAPD member firms. They also support students enrolled in a professional sales program. The Foundation is proud to offer worthy recipients of this award up to $5000 for their educational pursuits.

This year’s golf tournament is being held at the beautiful Smugglers Glen Golf Course in Lansdowne, Ontario, Canada. The course is known as Eastern Canada’s Premier Golf Destination, and for good reason. Designed over the rugged Canadian Shield landscape, golfers enjoy immaculate bent grass fairways with fast greens and award winning course conditioning. It’s one of the top golf courses in the Province of Ontario.

To kick off the event on July 11, delegates will be attending a meet-and-greet on a private charter sunset boat cruise on the Gananoque Boat Line, in the heart of the 1000 Islands. On Thursday night, after the tournament and awards dinner, IAPD is holding a Casino Night for all participants to raise money for the scholarships.
