Marchel Industries: The Latest Member of The Plastifam

As part of our ongoing journey towards becoming a long-term partner for our clients, Plastifab is thrilled to welcome Marchel Industries into our family of companies in a move that expands our portfolio of services to include injection molding. This strategic acquisition is a significant investment in Plastifab’s US footprint and underscores our commitment to serving clients throughout North America

Located in South Carolina, Marchel’s 36,000 square foot climate controlled facility is a full service injection molding facility equipped with state-of-the art molding machines ranging from 28 to 400 tonnes with an onsite tool shop.  

Marchel’s capabilities include precision machining, electrical discharge machining, plastic design, custom molding, prototyping, parts assembly, testing, and dimensional analysis. The facility is committed to excellent customer service and quality (ISO 9001-2015), and servicing a broad base of customers including OEM, medical, government, automotive and industrial companies, among others.

Plastifab and Marchel will mutually benefit from shared services, operational best-practices, geographic growth and the ability to provide both companies’ customer sets with a wider range of capabilities and services. And with injection molding added to our capabilities, we can now offer even more comprehensive solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Plastifab and Regimen will oversee Marchel Industries, while General Manager Matt Pitts will continue with Marchel as a partner, leading the day-to-day operations with strategic direction.
